About

This blog will be about seeking God through scripture and through experiencing the Holy Spirit, and more recently about our year-long-ish road trip! (and also about other aspects of my life).

I am a network engineer at a health care company. Husband for almost 20 years, father of three beautiful daughters, I try to live what I write about.

I look for the lessons that God is teaching me every day, and try to relate those to others. I welcome any comments and questions.

I believe that God still speaks to His children. I believe that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I believe that He wants us to have life, and have it to the full. I invite you to join Him!

Hi there! Interesting blog — definitely going to go through and read up on your experiences, as I’m about to do something similar. What lead me here specifically, though, was your mention of unlimitedville. I’m looking for some real-world speed results on their Pink plan. I’ve used a TMO hotspot and rarely get more than 5mbs and usually 3. But I see people on TMO phones get 10-15, so suspect it’s just that the hotspots are crap. Wondering what you see in real life.

    Thanks!

Greetings David! We had good success (for the most part) with the Unlimitedville. Of course, there were times we struggled due to the locations of some of the RV parks, but for the most part it worked well. Not only could I work full time, but we were able to stream music AND video through the hotspot; something we did not expect to be able to do. Overall, we were pleased with it as a solution, but it was more expensive. If we were to go back on the road again, I would choose them again in a heartbeat.
In addition, we ran into an issue with the hotspot around May, and they shipped me a new hotspot, which worked great from the time they got it to us. Their customer support was great, and the technician would contact me directly when I had an issue (which was a grand total of twice). I would highly recommend them.
